Spragga Benz has come to Queen Ifrica’s defense amid her ongoing push for unity among the Maroons.
In a heartfelt post on his verified Instagram account, Spragga called on Flagstaff and surrounding Maroon communities to rally around her in unity, love, and peace, emphasizing the importance of restrengthening the roots of their people.
He wrote, in part, “Big respect to my sister… love her or hate her, agree or disagree with her but never violate her,” praising Queen Ifrica as “very passionate” about her mission. He concluded by affirming, “She is doing Jah works.”
Among those supporting Spragga’s message was fellow artist Bugle, who commented, “And that is that,” adding an applause emoji.
Queen Ifrica has been vocal on social media, raising awareness about various issues, recently stating that Flagstaff Maroons hold the key to Jamaica’s freedom.
Flagstaff, Jamaica, played a vital role as an early Maroon settlement and was a key site during the Maroon Wars.
