Motorists are being urged to refrain from consuming alcohol while driving, as drunk driving is a major contributor to crashes during the Christmas season.
Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton, emphasizes that the usual celebration, accompanied by heavy eating and drinking, can become problematic when individuals are required to operate vehicles.
With nearly 10% of cases at accident and emergency wards being trauma-related, Dr. Tufton urged citizens to navigate the holiday season responsibly.
