The Estadio Universitario in Nuevo Leon, Mexico has been selected to host the inaugural edition of the Concacaf W Champions Cup finals.
The four matches – which includes semifinals, third place decider and final – will take place from May 21 to 24, 2025 and will be contested by Club America and Tigres from Mexico along with NJ/NY Gotham FC and Portland Thorns from the United States.
Semifinal action takes place on May 21 and features Tigres against Portland Thorns in semi-final one with Club America opposing NJ/NY Gotham FC in semifinal 2.
The winning teams will advance to the final on May 24 while the losers will face-off in the third place playoff that will be played on the same day.
The Concacaf W Champions Cup is an annual tournament that includes 11 of the best clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is also the sole path through which clubs in Concacaf can qualify for the new FIFA Women’s Club World Cup—the first edition of which will include 16 clubs and be played between January and February 2026.
The Group Stage saw 10 clubs—three from NWSL (USA), three from Liga MX (Mexico), and one from each of the domestic leagues of Canada, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Panama—divided into two groups of five clubs each, with each club playing every club in their group once. The five-week Group Stage took place from late August to mid-October.
