Argentine Global superstar and World Cup winning captain Lionel Messi, could be gracing the shores of Jamaica in March next year.
This following the draw for the Concacaf Champions Cup last night, which saw newly crowned Caribbean Champions Cavalier FC drawn to face the winner of the Lionel Messi led Inter Miami FC vs Sporting FC first round clash.
Also set to play on Jamaican soil if Inter Miami wins their first round match are Uruguayan star striker Luiz Suarez and Sergio Busquets
Cavalier by virtue of being champions of the Caribbean received a bye to the round of 16 as a reward on sporting merit.
The first four rounds will have opponents each host a home match, with aggregate goal scoring.
The final will be a single match to decide the champion.
Round One begins in February, followed by the Round of 16 in March, the Quarterfinals in the beginning of April and the semifinals in late April and early May.
The final is scheduled for June 1.
