Dancehall star Masicka, was among the of fans who turned out to the National Indoor Sports Centre last night to cheer on the Sunshine Girls, for the second match in their three-game series against South Africa.
In a video circulating on social media, the Top Form hitmaker was captured being pounced upon by the Sunshine Girls as they celebrated their victory over South Africa. The video also highlights, the DJ interacting with PM Andrew Holness and Sports Minister Olivia Grange who were also in attendance.
Jamaica’s 59-47 victory yesterday placed the team ahead of South Africa with two consecutive wins, ultimately securing the Margaret Beckford Sunshine Series Title. The series will climax on Saturday January 25.
Subsequent to the game, Masicka linked up with dancehall megastar Vybz Kartel and renowned music producer TJ. The moment, captured and shared in an Instagram post by Masicka, has garnered a myriad of likes with industry greats, including Bounty Killer and Sean Paul approving the link-up, alluding to the legendary status of the two hitmakers.
