The St. Mary police are appealing for the driver of a car that crashed in Rio Nuevo this morning to surrender.

The driver reportedly fled the scene of the crash, which left at least 3 people injured.

Head of the St. Mary police division Deputy Superintendent Anthony Wallace said the crash occurred at about 6: 00 a.m. and involved a Toyota Mark X motor vehicle.

He noted that the police are awaiting clearance from doctors to interview the crash victims.
