Richie Stephens will collect his second American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) award in London England on October 16.
The entertainer will be collecting the awards for Song of the Year and Digital Sales of the Year for his contribution to Rihanna’s Work. The track is among the top ASCAP songs on the 2016 year-end charts.
This is the second time that Richie Stephens will be honoured by ASCAP. In April of this year he received a pop award at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Hollywood.
ASCAP is an American not-for-profit performance rights organization that protects its members’ musical copyrights by monitoring public performances of their music, including via a broadcast, and compensating them.
After the awards function in London, Richie Stephens and his Ska Nation Band will embark on a fall tour in Europe during late October.
