Reggae Boyz midfielder Peter-Lee Vassell has been selected with the 16th pick (40th overall) in the second round of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by Los Angeles FC.
Vassell, who played for Harbour View in the Red Stripe Premier League, took part in the MLS Caribbean Combine in October, winning MVP honors at the event held in Kingston in October of 2018. A feat that saw him earn a spot at the 2019 MLS Combine.

The 19 year old after helping lead Cornwall College to the 2016 DaCosta Cup title, has gone on to represent Jamaica at every level and has so far made 8 appearances for the senior Reggae Boyz scoring five goals in the process, the most recent coming in a 6-0 win over Bonaire in a Concacaf Nations League Qualifier in October.
