Police probing triple murder in Kingston

by June 12th, 2019

Head of the St. Andrew South Police, Superintendent Gary Francis, has indicated that officers are collecting information they believe can aid in their probe into the triple murder on Harvey road this morning (June 12).

He declined to give out any further details on the investigations.

A teenaged girl is among those killed.

Dead are 16-year-old Jody Ann Deer, 20-year-old higgler Tajay Dunbar and 23-year-old sideman Neville Lewis.

Meantime, another female was shot and wounded during the incident. She has been admitted at hospital in stable condition.

Reports are that armed men gained entry to a house occupied by the four persons, and opened gunfire at them.

Police are theorizing that the triple murder is gang related.

Superintendent Gary Francis is reminding residents of Harvey Road and surrounding communities that crime stop offers rewards for information on gangs and guns.
