by January 10th, 2019

Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, has declined to reveal any information about the government’s dealings with Israel.

The Opposition has been raising questions, about connections between the governments of Jamaica and Israel, since last May, when former Science Minister, Dr. Andrew Wheatley announced plans, to establish a cyber academy with the assistance of Israel Aerospace Industries.

Opposition Spokesman, Julian Robinson, tabled questions in parliament for the prime minister, about the cyber academy.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Holness, who now has responsibility for the Science portfolio, said no MOU has been entered into, regarding the establishment of the cyber academy.

Mr. Robinson then posed a follow up question, regarding connections to Israel’s government.
