A man was killed and another injured in a traffic accident along the Rosehall Main Road in St James, early this morning.
According to the police 23-year old Trovoy James of Cambridge in the parish was killed in the crash minutes to 4:00 a.m.
Reports are that Mr James was driving a Toyota Sprinter motor car with a passenger aboard heading towards Montego Bay.
On reaching a section of the roadway he allegedly lost control of the vehicle crashed into a utility pole and overturned.
Both men sustained multiple injuries and were taken to hospital where James was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in stable condition.
More than one hundred and twenty-three people have been killed in road crashes since January.
