Jamaica's Reggae Boys are on their way home following Tuesday’s disappointing  scoreless draw against  Antigua  and  Barbuda in  the  second game of  their  semi-final round CONCACAF World Cup qualifying competition at  the Sir  Vivian Richards Stadium  in St. Johns Antigua.

This leaves Jamaica second on goal difference in Group A behind the United States --- both on four points --- who were held  to  a  1-all  draw  by  Guatemala.

Clint  Dempsey  gave  the  USA  the  lead  in the  40th  minute,  but  Marco   Pappa  levelled  the  score  for  Guatemala  on  83  minutes.

Guatemala  sits  third  in  the  group  on  goal  difference  over   Antigua, despite  both  having  one  point  each.

Jamaica will now host the United States at the National Stadium on September 7 in their next match while Antigua will visit Guatemala.

In other results, Panama maintained their 100 percent win record with a 1-0 triumph over Cuba in Panama City, Mexico also remained undefeated with a 2-1 win over El Salvador in San Salvador.

Three goals from Alvaro Saborio carried Costa Rica to a 4-0 victory over Guyana, while Canada and Honduras played out a goalless draw in Toronto.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
