Dwayne Smith score half century against australia

Dwayne Smith today scored a half century as the West Indies board president’s eleven were dismissed for 201 on the first day of their three day tour match against Australia at The Three Ws Oval.

Smith hit 7 fours and a six in making 62 off 73 balls as Jason Holder contributed 49 and Kieran Powell 42.

The home team after electing to bat went to lunch on 60 for 2 then lost 8 wickets for 141 runs.

Ryan Harris bagged 4 for 22 and Michael Beer 4 for 41.

The Australians in their reply were 81 for two at stumps.

Shane Watson made 42 before falling lbw to Nelon Pascal.
