Vybz Kartel is pointing fingers at Big Ship records for the closure of a studio he once occupied at Havendale, Kingston.
Just last week, the Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation (KSAC) shut down the recording studio citing that no permission was granted from residential to commercial.
According to Vybz Kartel’s publicist, Claude Mills, the deejay said Freddie McGregor and his son Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor influenced officials to close his studio.
The studio was close after a notice was served to the owner of the property - “Father Romie.”
The KSAC started an investigation after the police sent a letter lobbying for the studio to be shutdown.
