There was chaos at Taurus Bash on Saturday night at Amnesia in Ocho Rios.

The highly promoted event slated for the Amnesia car park was diverted to the club after the lawmen revealed that the promoter didn’t have a permit.

But Taurus Bash promoter Paul Chin is pointer finger at Amnesia nightclub’s proprietor James Mcnamee popularly known as Jimmy.

Chin explains that he is disgruntled with Jimmy as he was in charge of getting the permit. He said Jimmy allegedly knew from Friday that the event would not be held, but failed to deliver the information and instead assured him that everything was in place. (CLIP 1)

Chin also used the opportunity to apologize to patrons. (CLIP 2)

Meanwhile, Amnesia nightclub owner Jimmy who refused to comment issued a press release.

In the release Jimmy states that he had no agreement with the promoter to acquire the permit for the show. He further states that his only responsibility was to have the venue available and ready for the event.

Nevertheless, despite the glitches the few patrons gathered were entertained Bounty Killa, Sizzla, Konshens, Stacious, Romaine Virgo and others.

The curtains for Taurus Bash ended at minutes after 6 on Sunday morning (10/05/09).
