Olympic  champion Hansle Parchment will be  aiming  for  a promising season opener in the  men’s  110m hurdles as he prepares to defend his Olympic title later this season, when  he  lines  up  in  the  event at  the  season  opening  Wanda  Diamond  League meeting  in Xiamen, China on the weekend.

The US duo of  Cordell Tinch and Daniel Roberts will  provide the  toughest challenge  to  Parchment.

World Indoor champion Christian Coleman and 2022 World Champion Fred Kerley will clash in a men’s 100m contest that also includes World Indoor bronze medallist Ackeem Blake,  national champion Rohan Watson   and  2011  World  Champion  Yohan Blake,  while two-times  World  Champion  Danielle  Williams  will  tackle   Olympic bronze  medallist  Megan Tapper, world record-holder Tobi Amusan of Nigeria, and Olympic Champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico.

Meanwhile,  world 100 meters champion Sha’carri Richardson gets her 2024 campaign going when  she  contests  the  women’s  200  meters .

She  will  be  up  against her  compatriot  Tamara Clark and European champion Mujinga Kambundji.
