A STINGLESS STING!

The highly anticipated Sting 2k9 was stingless!!!!

As a matter of fact disappointment is looming in the air after many patrons dubbed the annual event a talent show after seen a barrage of new acts.

Though the turnout was good, it wasn’t as grand as previous years. The usual sting vibe and exciting was evidently lacking.

Nonetheless, it wasn’t until about 5:50 Sunday morning that patrons in attendance saw a little action.

Assassin was the surprise of sting. The deejay delivered a workman performance getting back to back forwards.

The Living Fire formerly known as Chuck Fendah, Anthony B and I-Octane all got some forwards during their entertaining sets.

Twins of Twins did their thing and was entertaining. Lisa hype blazed fire defending her oral act and fire shots at her critics, especially Stacious.

Kip Rich have officially written-off General B’s career killing him lyrically for a second time. Meanwhile, the highly promoted clash between Goofy and La Lewis never happened. While Mr. G was seen at the venue La was m.i.a!

Etana whose performance could have been ruined by a power outage on stage, kept the vibe going as she sang with music or a microphone and got the patrons involved.

Sting giants’ Vybz Kartel and Bounty Killa got massive forwards. Mavado who appeared to be obviously tired did fairly well.

While Merciless who had his few moments of glory, ended up getting booed!

Some unexpected guests at sting include wife of the Prime Minister, Lorna Golding, Rev Al Miller and a still wounded Tiger, for whom there was respect.
