SINGER JIMMY BUFFETT LANDS AT BOSCOBEL AERODROME
Singer, songwriter and author Jimmy Buffett was the first man to land at the BOSCOBEL AERODROME – to be commissioned later this month as the island’s third International Airport.
Airports Authority of Jamaica hosted a small welcome/media party on the location for Jimmy Buffet and his team. Chris Blackwell, Minister Olivia Babsy Grange and Chairman of AAJ Mark Hart were some of the people present.

Aside from his career in music, Jimmy Buffet is also a bestselling writer and is involved in two restaurant chains named after two of his best known songs, cheeseburger in paradise and Margaritaville.
Jimmy Buffett who is currently promoting his latest album, Encores left the island at 2pm today.

Jimmy Buffett kicked off his Under the Big Top summer tour on April 24 in Tampa, Florida, and will wrap up the tour with a September 4 show in Bristow, Virginia.
