SHAGGY HANDS OVER EQUIPMENT TO BUSTAMANTE HOSPITAL

Shaggy is pleased following the official handing over of medical equipment to the Bustamante Hospital for Children (BHC) on Friday.

The ceremony involved the handing over of US$350,000 (J$30 million) worth of medical equipment, which was raised at the 2010 staging of the Shaggy and Friends benefit concert.

Shaggy tells Music News that he and his team are passionate about the cause.

Although the international reggae entertainer wasn't present, Shaggy was streamed live from Los Angeles where he was scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

There was also the presentation of a cheque valued at $10,500US (J$903,000) from Chain of Hope.
