Music News understands that police on the US Virgin Island of St Croix have arrested and charged 2 suspects in connection with the recent robbery of Dancehall star Serani and his road manager.

According to reports, the two suspects, one of whom is a Puerto Rican national, have had bail set at $135,000 USD each.

The robbery, which police strongly believe was set up by the promoters of the show, took place after Serani had performed on the island on January 4. Further arrests are expected in connection with the case.

However, a video from a local Virgin Island entertainment television reporter recently surfaced on You Tube. The reporter claims that Serani had a ‘nasty’ attitude and his performance at the islands annual festival was poor.

He also claims that Serani was robbed by people that felt disrespected by his attitude towards the locals.

Meanwhile, in a previous Music News report, Serani claimed that the promoter of the event had something to do with the robbery. He explained that a series of events that transpired prior to the robbery were too peculiar.
