Paul Elliot is threatening to take legal action against fellow entertainer Merciless if he continues to tarnish his reputation.

According to Elliot, if Merciless continues to say offensive things about him during his stage performances and in his songs he will be forced to sue the deejay for defamation of character.  

This ongoing saga involving Paul Elliot and Merciless started at a tribute concert for Dennis Brown where the two had a physical altercation. 

Meanwhile, numerous efforts to get a comment from Merciless proved futile.

Jah Paul, the best thing you can do is ignore the fool. Back in the day, bounty killa clash wid the fool all ova the world, from Kingston to Miami, England to New York. Bounty Killa finally woke up and saw that this fool was looking a hype off of him and said he will never clash with Merciless again. Merciless ran away to Miami for awhile until he got deported. Jah Paul take a page out of Killa book, leave the fool alone, don't mention his name, concentrate on ur music and do your ting.
