In spite of the introduction of the "I Am Legal Campaign" organizers of both Dream and ATI festivities could not prevent party goers from drinking excessively.

Several patrons were transported on the backs, over the shoulder, by the hands and feet or on a stretcher by friends or the event's medical team.

While some drank themselves to the ground others acted boisterous sparking a little scuffle here and there and the majority partied responsibly.

After events patrons wobbled onto the streets in their quest to find their hotels dodging the riders of bike taxis who rode up and down the Negril strip recklessly despite a strong contingent of police.

While there are no reported fatalities, organizers may want to implement measures to further secure patron's safety while party goers make an extra effort to revel responsibly.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
