Ninja Man may not perform at Reggae Sumfest despite being advertised.

The veteran dancehall deejay who had a curfew order imposed as one of the terms and conditions of his bail in March, is not to be seen on the street between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

But could this be the reason the deejay may not perform at Reggae Sumfest in July? Well, according to Ninja Man he’s dissatisfied with the amount the organizers of the festival are offering.

Ninja Man is billed to perform on Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest.

The entertainer and his son were granted bail in the sum of $2 million each in March after spending three years behind bars.

Ninja Man along with his son and two others were slapped with the murder charge of a 20 year old man in 2009. The men are to return to court on July 16.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
