NICKI MINAJ CHARGED FOR INDECENT LANGUAGE IN JAMAICA

Nicki Minaj was yesterday served with a summons for using indecent language while performing onstage at Reggae Sumfest at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay.

The cash money rapper is to attend court on Thursday, July 28, but her lawyer made an appeal for the matter to be put forward to today. He then pleaded guilty on her behalf and was fined $1,000.

Nicki used a lot of expletives during her set on International 2.

In relating news, Nicki Minaj has revealed that she wasn’t sure if Jamaican’s would accept her.

The Trinidadian born rapper spoke with Music News following her performance on International Night 2 at Reggae Sumfest.

Nicki Minaj also revealed that despite being signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Records she would not have gain success if she didn’t put hard work in.

Nicki Minaj was discovered by fellow American rapper Lil Wayne and signed a deal to Young Money Entertainment with distribution from Universal Motown in August 2009.

Her debut studio album Pink Friday (2010) became a commercial success, peaking atop of the U.S. Billboard 200 and being certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) a month after its release.
