Monty Alexander is upbeat while he awaits the verdict in the Best Reggae Album category at 54th annual Grammy Awards.
Monty, who has been nominated a couple of times for a Reggae Grammy but has never been successful, says he’s honoured for the submission.
Monty Alexander is nominated for his album Harlem-Kingston Express Live.
Other entertainers vying for the Best Reggae Album title are Stephen Marley for Revelation Pt 1: The Root of Life, while his brother Ziggy received his nomination for Wild and Free, Shaggy for Summer In Kingston and Israel Vibrations for Reggae Knights.
The 54th annual Grammy Awards will be held this Sunday.
