LUCIANO CHARGED

Reggae singer Luciano has been charged with harbouring a fugitive.

The Jah Messenger singer who is slated to appear in court on April 9 was charged Monday afternoon by detectives at the Half-Way-Tree Police Station. He was later released on $60,000 bail.His attorney Delano Franklyn filed a writ in court on Monday demanding that he be charged or released.Luciano found himself in trouble with the law following a shooting at his Westminster Crescent studio last Wednesday. Police stormed the complex in search of a man they say was wanted.The man, Andrew Senior, was killed and three police officers injured during a reported shoot-out. Investigators alleged that Luciano knew of Senior's background and harboured him as part of his security team.
