Live Wyya Band is suing the organizer of the Ocho Rios Seafood Festival.

Band leader, Karl Edwards tells Music News that they are suing main organizer Garwin Davis after he failed to pay them.

Karl claims that they received a bounce cheque from Garwin after their performance at the Ocho Rios Seafood Festival held on August 3 last year.

Live Wyya says the matter will be mentioned in court on Friday, February 6.

Meanwhile numerous efforts made by Music News to get a comment from Garwin Davis were futile.

But keep it locked for the full hundred as this saga unfolds.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
