One of Lady Saw’s sisters has come to her defense following reports that the dancehall deejay will have to pay over $1.5 million in damages to a 62-year-old day's worker who had to be hospitalized for a month after being attacked by dogs at her upper St Andrew home three years ago.

According to Jahsrenna Hall, the woman in question works for her and not Lady Saw.

The 62 year old woman claims she was attacked on September 29, 2009 after completing a day's work at Lady Saw’s residence at Chancery Hall, St Andrew. She was allegedly left with over 20 bites when the approximately 10 dogs attacked her.

The woman was awarded the sum with interests by Justice Leighton Pusey during an assessment of damages hearing last Wednesday in the Supreme Court.

About IRIE FM

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
