KHAGO GETS MOBO NOMINATION

The nominees for the 16th annual 2011 MOBO Awards have been announced!

Alborosie, Damian Marley & Nas, Jah Cure, Khago and Mavado are the entertainers vying for the coveted best reggae act title.

Khago who is currently in England, tells Music News that he’s elated for the recognition.

The MOBO nominations were announced in London recently. The ceremony itself will be held in Glasgow, Scotland on October 5.

MOBO Awards was established in 1996 to recognize

and celebrate artists of any race or nationality performing

black music.

The MOBO Awards is the first Black awards show in Europe.
