“I am now a daddy. I’m so happy” tweet an overjoyed Jah Cure.

Following the arrival of his daughter, the singer made the announcement via twitter telling fans “She’s finally here. She’s so beautiful.”

Jah Cure and his wife Kamila McDonald, co-host of CVM TV’s On Stage tied the knot at the luxurious Tryall Estate in Sandy Bay Hanover August last year.

A true Rasta is true Christian. Ethiopia was never conquered so the Christianity they practice is not as watered down as the Babylon version of Christianity which most people who say they are Christians follow. Modern christianity is a mass deception of the devil with its many pagan practices. Religion in the form of christianity as we know it today is the enemy of God. The true and wise Rastaman rejects the Eurocentric pagan version of Christianity but accepts Jesus Christ but we refer to him by the name his brethren used to call him which is Yashuah ha Mashiach (Hebrew)or Eyesus Cristos (Greek). Do your research and you will find that even the name Jesus is a deception. The name Yashuah directly translates to Son Of Yah(God). However I do not get too caught up in the name because if a man is genuinely calling upon the Father, even if he is led astray by false teachings to call him Jesus, my opinion is that he would still hear him. I however avoid all of that by calling him by the name his brethren and sistren called him. Hailie Selassie was the perfect example of an ancient Christian. He observed his sabbath on the seventh day and still went to church on the Lord's Day as the ancient faithful in Ethiopia do. The word Selassie is an ancient Amharic word...and Amharic is the second oldest language next to Hebrew. The word Selassie means the Trinity (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) so when we hail Selassie we hail all three at once...Nuff man make up all kind of things and call it Rasta but if yuh check the history you will realise that the original Rasses really was heeding to a call of what may be termed Ethiopianism. Ethiopia is the most ancient Christian nation on earth but even them the Ethiopian Orthodox has become curropt due to power struggle and human imperfection so I and I just observe the true temple aka the true church which is housed in your body ...and where more than one is gathered He is also there. I am baptised in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church as well but i see where it is becoming more and more like the catholic church and even protestant churches so we follow Hailie Selassie speech on Religion and Spirituality as our guide...The Ethiopian Orthodox priest taught me a long time ago that Hailie Selassie is the head of the church and the Defender of the Faith. He also taught me that if we are going to say that Hailie Selassie is God then we should always add the word Qadamawe to his title. Qadamawe Hailie Selassie translates as Qadamawe = First, beginning or origin. Hailie= Hail as in hail the king and Selassie as explained above means The Trinity. Therefore Qadamawe Hailie Selassie means Hail the Power or the beginning of the trinity. So when I hail Selassie I am hailing what he represents...Modern pagan christian is mystery babylon the great whore that decieve the people into thinking that they are doing the right thing. A true Rastaman also knows that Hailie Selassie is his baptismal name...his given name at birth is Tafari Makonnen. So for all the Rasses who want to deny baptism and the general teachings of the EOC (Ethiopian Orthodox Church)..they should think about the fact that Hailie Selassie couldnt have gotten that name without being baptised but as I've said before i prefer to refer to myself as a RASTA (Righteous Apostle Serving The Almighty) anyday than to mix up mix up with the babylon paganised version of christianity. Haile Selassie, the last emperor in the 3,000-year-old Ethiopian monarchy, who ruled for half a century before he was deposed by military coup last September, died yesterday in a small apartment in his former palace. @concern Jamaican. Jesus Christ did not pray to himself...neither did Hailie Selassie. Jesus Christ said "the Father and I are one"...so too are you and I, if you read the scriptures. When the Rastaman says I & I it literally means God & I or the God dwells within me. Concern Jamaican I am not Rasta but there are too many questions that are left unanswered about Hailie Selassie, like for example why is it there are so many different versions of his death, why did they have so many different funerals for him, why is it that they executed the soldier that was guarding Hailie Selassie when he went to the church to pray but no one saw when he left...that was the last time that he was reported as being seen alive. My question really is why are they trying so hard to prove that he died. I mean under normal circmstances, even if their is a doubt that someone died and they cant find the body, as was the case with Hailie Selassie,they normally get just one funeral and thats it right? Bobo is right, the very popular magazine "Readers Digest" declared in the mid 1970's that the bones that they claimed to be Hailie Selassie's bones could not have been his because the bones that they attributed to him were those of a man that was at least six feet tall. Concern Jamaican, ther are just too many questions left unanswered for you to come and follow propaganda and obvious fabrication of stories...now think about this for a second. It is now approximately 2012 years since Jesus Christ walked this earth. Did you know that approximately 50 years after Jesus was crucified a person was considered a heretic for believing that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and was alive in heaven?...even today people still deny that. That is why we have Christians and non Christians because some people believe he is the son of God and some dont. Now let us put it in perspective....Rastafari is approximately only about 75 years so give them even another 100 years. Rastafari culture is very young but has impacted the world so much. So my point is that the average person that lived in the days of Jesus did not believe that he rose from the dead, it was actually the few disciples that spread the word just in the same way that the Rasses are spreading the word that Hailie Selassie lives. My personal final conclusion is that it does not matter whether or not Jesus or Selassie is alive in flesh...the fact is their works live on...the spirit lives on...thats what it means when the Rastaman says "yuh kill I today but you cant kill I tomorrow"...our spirit is eternal. I respect the Rastaman and all true Christians but as for me I AM WHAT I AM.

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for.
