IRIE FM CELEBRATES BOB MARLEY 'S BIRTHDAY

Preparations are in high gear for the Bob Marley birthday celebrations on February 6. The festivities will kick off in Jamaica to the other side of the globe in Ghana.

Rose Marie Duncan, assistant to Mrs. Rita Marley tells Music News the events that will take place on the island and in Africa.

IRIE FM will also be celebrating Bob Marley birthday with a special 8 hr live outside broadcast from the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston from 6 AM to 2 PM with the Running African show with Andrea Williams and Sunday Sunshine with Big A.

The IRE FM’s broadcast will feature live links from Ghana, Bob Marley’s birthday cutting of cake and performances from Bunny Wailer, Julian Marley, Richie Spice, Taurus Riley, Queen Ifrica, and Dean Frazer.
