The long awaited album that we have all been talking about, Bob Marley and the Wailers Live Forever album has hit the stores.  

Live Forever is the recordings of Bob Marley’s final concert which was held at the Stanley Theatre, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the 23rd September, 1980. 

The eco-friendly packaged album includes live renditions of Uprising, Could You Be Love, and the classic Redemption Song.  

Snr Manager at Tuff Gong Ms. Launa Wayne Write tells music news that the album is available at the Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston.  




Fans can get a taste of the special album at the IRIEFM outside broadcast this Sunday at the Bob Marley museum for his 66th birthday celebration.

The 8 hr live broadcast will start at 6 am with Running African show with Andrea Williams and Muta Baruka and live performances on Sunday sunshine with Big A.

All is invited to this special outside broadcast which is free of cost featuring live links from Ghana, Bob Marley’s birthday cutting of cake, nyabinghi drummers, and performances from Taurus Riley, Dean Frazer and many more.

The station officially went on air on August 1, 1990. Reggae in the morning, Reggae in the evening, Reggae in the night was the cry. Critics said it was impossible to sustain a 24-hour Reggae music station. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this format was something the Jamaican public yearned for. The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
