GYPTAIN AND DJ FRASS QUESTIONED BY POLICE FOLLOWING STUDIO SHOOTING

 Music news understands that entertainers Gyptain and Dj Frass are currently in police custody following a shooting death of a man at a studio on Dumbarton Avenue, Kingston 10 Monday evening (12/09/11).

Reports are that the shooting took place following heated altercation between Gyptain and DJ Frass. Producer Dj Frass was taken in for questioning last night while the “Hold Yuh" singer Gyptain was taken in this morning.  

According to CCN reports, Twenty-seven-year-old Davion Bailey otherwise called ‘Burro’ was gunned down at the recording studio. 

Information received from the Half Way Tree CIB is that about 5:45 p.m., a group of men, armed with guns, entered the recording studio and opened fire hitting Bailey multiple times. The men escaped in a white Honda motor car. The police were called and Bailey taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

 Investigations continue.
