Final Farewell For Desmond Elliott

Family, friends and well-wishers will say their final farewell to veteran broadcaster Desmond Elliott on Tuesday.

Digital Chris tells Music News that the funeral service for his dad will begin at 10:00am at the ST. Andrew Parish Church on August 14. Meanwhile, a Wake is slated to take place on Monday, August 13 at PBCJamaica from 7pm to midnight.

Desmond Elliott who was also a former Director of TV Programmes at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC) for over 30 years died at the Buff Bay Hospital on Sunday, July 29, 2012. 

He was 75 years old. At the time of his passing, he was a freelance producer of the programme, Golden Memories on PBCJAMAICA.
