DOWNSOUND RECORDS OPENS LA OFFICE

DownSound Records has just opened it’s satellite office in LA to facilitate promotion and internal distribution for Down Sound product. This office is headed by Richard Lewis, who comes from hip hop fame as manager of acts such as The Pharcyde, Fatlip as well as directed music videos for Barry White, Naughty by Nature and many others.
New album from DYCR is scheduled for release next week as well as the Prophet Riddim featuring Capleton, Buju Banton, Sizzla, Anthony B, Jimmy Reilly, Harry Toddler, D Angel, One Third, Magma, G Warren, and George Nooks.
On the local front the company is rigorously promoting Harry Toddler with a fleet of new singles including Pray Fi Dem, Safe Travel, Lue, and Rich Gal.
Harry Toddler will be at Spring Break in Negril March 14th and then again at a show at Boubon Beach in Negril entitled Josey Wales meets Harry Toddler. A made for TV series pilot will be shot during this concert, directed by Peter Rickards and produced by DSR, signaling the continuation of local content being developed by DownSound Records. The companies last TV production was The Reggae Academy Awards produced by Bogdanovich last year, 2008.News Category:
