BUJU GETS NEW SENTENCING DATE ... AGAIN

Buju Banton’s sentencing date has been rescheduled for a third time.

The incarcerated reggae entertainer was originally expected to learn his fate on June 16, but federal district Judge James S. Moody Jr. said without any explanation, that Buju Banton was to be sentenced on June 23. Now, Music News understands that Buju will have to wait a little while longer as the new sentencing date has now been set for the end of June 2011.

Buju Banton who was found guilty of three cocaine related charges on February 22 faces a maximum sentence of life in imprisonment.
