Bounty Killa’s legal woes will continue into the New Year.

The troubled dancehall deejay who made back to back court appearances between yesterday and this morning had his two cases put off until 2011.

The Alliance Leader appeared before court today to answer charges of unlawfully wounding after being accused of beating his 19-year-old girlfriend with a hammer and a mosquito swatter in September.

The case was put off until January 11 2011 because the complainant was absent from court. At the last hearing, the complainant told the court that she would like to withdraw the charge as she plans to resume the relationship with Bounty Killa and wished for the matter to be sent to mediation.

Meanwhile on Monday, as Music News reported, the deejay’s triAl on ganja-related charges was postponed to March 7, 2011 when he appeared in the Corporate Area R-M Court.

Allegations are that Bounty Killa was seen smoking along Grenada Way in New Kingston last October. He was held and searched and a small quantity of the drug was reportedly found in his possession. The dancehall deejay was subsequently arrested and charged.

But, Bounty Killa is maintaining his innocence on charges of possession of and smoking ganja.
