Veteran singer Barrington Levy is being sought by the Christiana police.

Music News understands that the entertainer physically abused his 14 year old daughter. According to the Christiana Police, on Wednesday (06/01/2010) Barrington Levy allegedly used a piece of water hose to beat his teenage daughter.

The Christiana Police refused to give details of what happened subsequent to the beating.

Meanwhile, a representative for Barrington Levy who seems baffled by the news explained that the artist is in Kingston.

Numerous efforts made by Music News to get a comment from the Barrington Levy proved futile.

The 'little station that could' got all media houses in Jamaica to stand up and take note.
