16YR TRIBUTE TO PETER TOSH ENDS

Worrell King has switched focus this year and will pay homage to Joseph Culture Hill instead of Peter Tosh.
For 16 consecutive years the Western Consciousness promoter has been paying tribute to Peter Tosh. He tells Music News what promoted the move. (CLIP)
The tribute concert to Joseph Culture Hill will be held on Heroes’ Day, Monday October 19 at Wharf, Sav-La-Mar.
Headline by Culture’s son Kenyatta Hill, the free concert will also feature the likes of Little Hero, Lutan Fire, George Nooks, Dezi Boyd, Iyah-Blazze and a host of others.
The tribute concert 09, saluting Joseph Culture Hill will also feature day time activities and prizes.
Joseph "Culture" Hill died on august 19, 2006, in Berlin, Germany, while on tour with his group Culture.
