Toll Increases

Effective today, motorists using the toll plazas in Spanish Town and Portmore, St Catherine, will be paying more for use of the toll road.

At the Spanish Town Toll Plaza, motorists with class 1 and 2 vehicles will see a $10 increase in fees, while drivers of class 3 vehicles will pay $20 more.

Over at the Portmore Toll Plaza, motorists with class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles will pay $10, $20, and $40 more, respectively.

The Toll Authority is still calling for comments from the public on proposed toll rates for a new toll plaza in Clarendon, to be called the May Pen Toll Plaza.

Interested persons should submit comments to the Toll Authority, Third Floor, 11a-15 Oxford Road, Kingston 5.

Persons have until tomorrow to make their written submissions.
