Three die in Manchester motor vehicle accident
Three persons including a teenager died in a motor vehicle accident along the Content Main Road in Manchester this morning.
Dead are 26-year-old Anna-kay Thompson, 22-year-old Kirk Dixon and 16-year-old Shauna-kay Jenningson all of Clarendon.
Two other persons injured in the accident have been hospitalised in serious condition.
Reports are that about 3:15 a.m., a white Honda Civic motor car with five persons aboard was heading towards Mandeville from Bellfield.
Upon reaching the vicinity of Windalco’s Kirkvine Plant, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle which collided into a wall.
Police were alerted and all five were taken to hospital where three succumbed to injuries and two were admitted.
In the meantime, Generation 2000 G2K the young professional affiliate of the Jamaica Labour Party is expressing regret at the death of Anna-kay Thompson.
Thompson was an assistant to former JLP Member of Parliament Michael Stern.
