Jeffery Perry sentenced to life imprisonment

The court of appeal this morning set aside the death sentence of Jeffrey Perry, who was convicted in 2008 of the murder of three children in Kilancholly, St Mary.

The court had reserved its decision yesterday and handed down its ruling today.

This morning, the court ordered that Perry serve a sentence of life imprisonment on each count and is not to be eligible for parole, until he has served 45 years imprisonment.

His lawyer Ravil Golding had withdrew Perry’s appeal against his convictions for murder.

Perry, a former security guard, was accused of killing the three siblings in Kiloncholly, St. Mary between January 27 and 28 in 2005.

The three children were fatally stabbed and had their throats slashed, at their home in Kiloncholly.

In January 2009, Perry was sentenced to hang for the 2005 murders of 13 year old Sue Ann Gordon, 15 year old Dwayne Davidson and 4 year old Shadice Williams.
