Cop implicated in St Ann beheading to appear in court next week

The policeman charged in relation to the beheading of a taxi operator in St Ann is to face the Court next Monday.

Twenty-year-old Constable Jeffrey Peart is to appear in the St Ann's Bay Resident Magistrates Court on June 18.

Peart who is attached to the Westmoreland Police is charged for the murder of Delroy Frame a taxi operator from Hanover.

Frame's body without the head was found in Cave Valley, St Ann on May 19.

The head has still not been found.

In the meantime, police say the members of Constable Peart's family who are in custody will be interviewed and are likely to be charged later.
