Confirmed: burnt remains are those of missing Trini teacher
The police are now confirming that the burnt human remains, found in St. James last week, are those of missing Trinidadian national, Michelle Coudray-Greaves.
They have launched a probe into a case of suspected abduction and a formal murder investigation.
A statement from the Constabulary Communication Network, says dental records, supplied by Mrs. Coudray-Greaves' mother, Marlene Coudray, have been validated by a dental expert.
A post-mortem conducted on the body last week, proved in-conclusive.
In light of that, the investigators have sought the assistance of a second pathologist, who will work closely with the first pathologist, to carry out further examinations.
A man who was held last week as a person of interest, in relation to the matter, remains in police custody, as the cops intensify their investigations.
