600 pounds of ganja seized in Clarendon

Six hundred pounds of ganja was seized in an operation last night on the Bustamante highway in Clarendon.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that about 10:00 p.m., the police were conducting an operation on the highway, when they signalled the driver of a Toyota motor car to stop.
The driver reportedly disobeyed the lawmen and sped away.
The motor car was later intercepted by the police.
However, the driver escaped.
The vehicle was searched, and the ganja found.
