A group of Jamaican musicians have arrived in Cuba for the first recorded musical collaboration between Jamaican and Cuban instrument players.
Bongo Herman, Sly and Robbie, and Bopee are among the Jamaicans who left the island yesterday for the project.
Jake Savana, the Australian producer who is the organizer, tells music news he has worked with Jamaican musicians and considers this a special moment.
He says the musicians will start their recording today.
The project is being done to showcase the musical styles of Jamaica and Cuba.
