The immediate and extended families of the late Eddie Fitzroy are at odds over the reggae singer’s funeral arrangements.
According to the veteran singer’s nephew, Ali Edwards, his uncle told him that when he dies he wants to be buried at the family plot in Suttons Street in Chapelton next to his son.
However, the contention is, another family member who is allegedly in position of Eddie Fitzroy’s life insurance, wants to bury him at the Dovecot Memorial Park.

The funeral for Eddie Fitzroy is set to take place on Sunday, March 26 at Stuart Hall, Clarendon College.
He died on Saturday, March 4 in the May Pen Hospital. He was 61-years-old.
Eddie Fitzroy was best known for songs such as “Check for you Once”, “Youthman Penitentiary”, “First Class Citizen” and “Princess Black” among others.
