It was a sad moment for friends and family as they all said good-bye to Wycliffe Steely Johnson The funeral service for late musical icon was held on Saturday September 12 at the Swallow Field Chapel Steely died on September 1 from a heart attack at a New York hospital. His close friend and music partner for many years Clevie told music news that the service was well attended. He said Culture Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange was in attendance along with a host of producers, entertainers and disc jockeys. International celebrities here on the island for the annual Caribbean Classic Golf Invitational pay tribute to pop legend Michael Jackson. During the event last night (25/06/09) dubbed the Caribbean comedy, comedians and actors including Cedric The Entertainer, Tommy Davidson and Bill Bellamy paid tribute to the pop legend during their comedic performances. They all remembered MJ as a great entertainer. However, we spoke at length with family friend and former ELEPHANT MAN GETS BUZZ OFF!!
