Members of the Senate are continuing their review of the National Identification and Registration Bill.
Several concerns were raised by Opposition Senators to aspects of the bill during today’s (Nov 13) sitting.
Opposition Senator, K.D Knight raised concern about aspects of the bill which he says could allow authorities to infringe on the privacy of individuals.

Meantime Leader of Government Business, Kamina Johnson Smith who piloted the bill says the authority can be sued for unlawful conduct under the bill.
