An apology from business man Corey Todd was enough to bury the hatchet and put an end to the legal battle with Grammy nominated entertainer Devin Di Dakta.
When the matter came up for hearing on Wednesday, defense attorney Peter Champagnie declared that the men wanted to settle the matter through mediation.
After a brief discussion between the parties, Devin di Dakta told the Parish Judge that he did not wish to pursue the case.
The matter was dismissed after Corey Todd apologized to Devin Di Dakta.
Todd was charged last year with assaulting the entertainer following a confrontation outside his Taboo Nightclub on Constant Spring Road in St. Andrew.
